Frying a Turkey:
- Gather supplies (fryer, propane gas tank, thermometer, infector, fire extinguisher, oven mitts)
- Thaw the Turkey Completely
- Prep Turkey with seasoning and inject with flavored butter
- Set up fryer outdoors, away from your home and any flammable structure or plant
- Use the correct amount of oil (use the fill line in your fryer, we like Peanut Oil)
- Preheat oil to 375 degrees
- Warn children and pets to stay away from fryer
- Turn flame off and lower Turkey into oil (this prevents fire)
- Fry Turkey 3-5 minutes per pound (maintaining 350 degree oil temperature)
- Remove Turkey and drain on paper towels, letting rest for 15 minutes
- Enjoy!
