This month is such an exciting time in Old Towne Orange! Remland Insurance was given an awesome tip about the Metrolink rolling through the Orange station collecting toys in support of the Firefighter’s “Spark of Love” Toy Drive. Here are all the details for December 16th:
“Orange is proud to announce that the Metrolink Holiday Toy Express train will be arriving in the City of Orange on December 16, 5:45 p.m., at the Old Towne Depot Metrolink Station.
Orange residents are invited to come out and see Santa arrive on his very own 450-ton Metrolink train decked out in over 50,000 lights, glittering lights and holiday decorations. The Holiday Toy Express will bring Santa and all of his North Pole friends to Orange for a free live musical performance for the whole family.
The event is free to the public, so everyone is welcome to join in the fun.
The public is asked to bring a new, unwrapped toy with them to support the Firefighter’s “Spark of Love” toy drive, which will benefit a needy girl or boy in the local community. The Orange Fire Department will be there to help collect toys.”
The Old Towne Depot is located at 194 N. Atchison St. in Orange
