Super Bowl Eats and Party Tips
Sunday, February 1st marks the 50th Superbowl here in our great country. The New England Patriots will take on the Seattle Seahawks in Arizona. If you plan to host a party this weekend our staff wanted to share some tips we thought would be super helpful:
- Make Simple foods – Foods that are easily eaten off a plate while sitting on the couch are best. We recommend avoiding hard to eat items like Spaghetti or Steak and sticking to items that can be eaten with hands or a fork. {nachos, wings, pizza, cookies, cupcakes and chips are all easy}
- Set up multiple TV’s – We recommend putting up as many televisions as you are able to so the party can spread out around the house and create more space to enjoy the game, both sitting and standing.
- Keep the decorating to a minimum – People are there to look at your TV screen, don’t stress yourself out by decorating the whole house with football gear and colored balloons
- Keep cleaning supplies accessible – With lots of people walking about your home carrying food and drinks, there is bound to be a spill or two. Have cleaning supplies available for guests to quickly use will help prevent major stains.
- Plan kid activities – If your party guests will be bringing their children, it’s a good idea to have some kid-friendly foods and activities for them to do. No kid has a 4 hour attention span for a football game, so be prepared!
Our staff here at Remland Insurance is divided in our vote about who they want to win! We will all be cheering our favorite teams on this Sunday and eating our very favorite Crock Pot Cheese Dip! Super simple, and a total crowed favorite or these delicious Orange-Honey inspired Wings!
