Self Storage Tips For Summer

Self Storage Tips For Summer

Summer is almost upon us…and it’s time to make some arrangements around the house. The warm clothes, the electric blankets and the firewood can all be put away while the beach chairs, swimsuits and horse-shoe’s come out to play!

Remland Insurance is proud to present some Summertime Self Storage Tips brought to you by our community partners at: My Self Storage Space – Orange, Palmyra Mini Storage & Outback Self Storage

  1. Put away your warm winter gear: It’s time to pack up those heavy winter coats and boots in your closet and make room for lighter shirts, summer dresses and flip flops! By putting the larger items away, your closet will feel more spacious!
  2. Get rid of unnecessary items: Are you holding on to that jacket because you “just might wear it sometime?” Here is a quick tip…once you wear an item in your closet, turn the hanger around backward and re-hand laundered clothes. Every 3 months get rid of the clothes on the hangers that have not been turned around. That is a great indication you will never wear them again!
  3. Label cold weather items in boxes: If you don’t have room in your home to store seasonal items, it may be time to invent in a storage unit space. My Self Storage Space- Orange, Palmyra Mini Storage & Outback Self Storage are all conveniently located here in Orange County for all of your storage needs!
