Local Summer Events Not To Miss

There are so many fabulous events in Orange County, California that both locals and nonlocals can enjoy throughout the year. We want you to get the most out of your summer, which is why we have collected the most important information for two amazing events we encourage you to attend:

2015 OC Fair – July 17th through August 16th

Hours of Operation:

Wednesday – Friday: Noon – Midnight

Saturday – Sunday: 10 a.m. – Midnight

Monday – Tuesday: Closed

Admission:

General: $12

Senior: $7

Youth: $7

Children (5 and younger): Free

In its 125th year of celebration, the OC Fair is an amazing event that both locals and nonlocals look forward to each year. This historically fun event brings over 1.3 million guests for 23 days of fun! Celebrating the California agricultural industry, this is a great way to have fun while supporting local farmers and businesses!

6th Annual Dana Point Lobster Beach Fest – Saturday, August 15th

Head over on Saturday, August 15th at 4:00 p.m. to satisfy your lobster craving! There will be amazing food all day long at Doheny Beach, including gourmet appetizers, smoked tri-tip, and desserts! There will be a Silent Auction, dancing, live entertainment, and a DJ! If you buy your ticket before July 31st, tickets are $75 per person, after the deadline they increase to $85, and $100 at the door. Proceeds by the Monarch Beach Surprise Rotary Club directly support various local charities, including Boys & Girls Club, Make-A-Wish, Dana Point 5th Marine Support Group, and more!
