As you may have seen, Remland Insurance held a photo contest during the month of August in anticipation of “National Dog Day!” Our owner, Gary Remland had the awesome opportunity to present a $25 gift certificate to Petco to the winner and her owner on September 4th. One of our loyal and local customers Paula Soest put a photo submission of her dog “Baby” into the contest and the rest is history! Soest was able to share her phot of “Baby” on the American Maltese Association Rescue Facebook page, and ended up earning 187 votes on her photo submission. Out of the 21 submissions we had in the contest “Baby’s” photo was the most liked giving her the WIN! Soest is involved as a doggie foster-mom with the American Maltese Association Rescue and fosters a few pups each year who are looking for their forever home. She was able to bring Dawn Isley the Southern California Coordinator for the American Maltese Association Rescue with her to our office to collect the prize that “Baby” donated directly to the American Maltese Association Rescue and we were so happy to hear about all of the dogs this great organization has found homes for! Thank you Paula for your business and for participating in our annual National Dog Day Photo Contest 2014! If you would like to learn more about the American Maltese Association Rescue, please contact Dawn Isley directly at [email protected] or find more information at www.americanmalteserescue.org to view the doggies looking for their forever home.
