California Homeowner’s Insurance – The Best Policy Ever!
California Homeowner’s Insurance could be the best policy the industry has ever put together! There’s not another policy that provides as much coverage for the dollar spent. And, it’s all done to protect what could be one of your most important assets….your home.
Whether you own a home, condo or townhouse, or rent an apartment, the peace of mind that a homeowner’s policy can provide is invaluable. The policy covers not only the structure, but your personal property (contents), as well as liability protection for injury or property damage that you may be held liable for. Most policies are written on a “open perils” form of coverage which include coverage for fire, theft, water damage from a broken pipe, wind, and many other perils. However, there is no coverage provided for the flood or earthquake. Coverage for these two perils can be purchased separately.
Your home is a huge investment. The objective of California Homeowner’s insurance is to provide you with the correct limits of coverage to rebuild your home, replace the contents, and take care of the additional expenses you incur because of a loss that forces you to move out for some time. It’s important to know that under the homeowner’s policy, your car, motorcycle, boat or motorhome is not covered. You will need separate policy to protect them.
Ask your insurance agent details about your coverage so there are no surprises if something happens to your home or personal property. Set up an annual review to make sure your policy coverage is current and meets your needs. Ask what ways you can lower your premium by raising your deductible; adding alarms; adding the right kind of roof. Finally, put your coverage with an agent and insurance carrier you can trust, so you can know that you have the best coverage, with the best agent, and the right company.
