A huge congratulations to the Anaheim Ducks for taking the win over the Detroit Red Wings in Game 5 of their first-round NHL hockey Stanley Cup Play-off series. Securing the win last night put them ahead in the series with a 3-2 lead, so fans everywhere are rooting for a win in game 6 this Friday night. Our staff at Remland Insurance wishes the team good luck as they head to Detroit to take on the Red Wings on their home turf.

Ever since the “Mighty”Ducks came to Orange County in the 90’s there has been a resurgence of love for the game of hockey and many local residents have taken to playing it in the forms of ice hockey or roller hockey at surrounding rinks. Playing hockey is not only physical, it’s expensive! We would venture to say it’s one of the most expensive sports to play due to the cost of good equipment and rink fees.

If you or your family members currently play a competitive sport, it’s a good time to check out your existing insurance coverage for sports equipment. California Insurance Group offers great coverage that will protect sports equipment if it is stolen, lost or damaged allowing for a quick replacement so you can get back to playing the sport you love. Coverage is available to those who currently have homeowners or renters insurance coverage with CIG. If you are in need to sports equipment insurance, please give Remland Insurance a call at 714)532-3341 today to discuss your options and create the policy.

Let’s go Ducks! Win the Stanley Cup!
